Overview

The report presents Espersen's 2024 carbon footprint of 3,332 tCO2e in Scope 1, 5,070 tCO2e in market-based Scope 2 and 358,913 tCO2e in Scope 3. It records commitments to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% by 2030 and Scope 3 intensity by 52% per tonne of sold fish product. The report also introduces expanded ESRS-oriented sustainability data, including total energy consumption of 62,933.23 MWh, 52% renewable energy in the total energy mix, 102,900 m3 of water consumed and 3,150 employees.
