Overview

The report describes the Group's 2021 ESG performance across the Company, wholly-owned subsidiaries and controlling subsidiaries. It reports 203,475.50 tons of CO 2 equivalent in total greenhouse gas emissions, including 24,232.68 tons of Scope 1 and 179,242.82 tons of Scope 2 emissions, alongside 301,065.51 MWh of total energy consumption and 9,400,572.97 m3 of water consumption. The Board is identified as the highest ESG decision-making body, supported by the Risk Management Committee and Sustainable Development Supervision Team. Community engagement included 5,973 activities, 526 employee volunteers and RMB107,679 in charitable donations.
