Overview

The report describes Abacus's formal sustainability protocol and commitment to integrate environmental, social and governance issues into investment, property management, development and workplace activities. For its first year of systematic environmental measurement, the company reports 144,886 GJ of total energy use, 254,685 KL of water use and 26,091 tCO2e of combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. It also reports zero fatalities, disabling injuries, occupational illnesses or other reportable injuries during FY14 and discloses 20% female representation on the board.
