Overview

The report describes ABP's 2017 responsible-investment approach and progress toward its 2020 targets. It reports €49.8 billion in Sustainable Development Investments, equal to 12.2% of total assets, and €4 billion invested in renewable energy. The equities portfolio CO2 footprint fell 28% and was already below the 2020 reduction target, while the report expanded its climate, human-rights and SDG disclosures. KPMG Sustainability reproduced a limited-assurance review of the report.
