Overview

The report presents Achmea's sustainability ambitions across its own operations, investment portfolio and insurance portfolio, including net-zero targets of 2030, 2040/2050 and 2050. It reports a 57% reduction of its CO2 footprint compared with 2019 and 100% green energy purchased. The report also highlights responsible investment, including EUR 57 billion invested for its own account and policyholders and approximately EUR 194 billion managed for institutional clients. Sustainability governance is organized through the Supervisory Board, Executive Board and Programme Board Achmea Sustainable Together.
