Overview

The report presents an integrated review of Afrimat's financial, social, economic and environmental performance. During FY2012, sustainability oversight was strengthened through the Social & Ethics and Sustainability Committee, while the board remained ultimately responsible for group sustainability. Group-level black ownership reached 26,12%, and the company reported a DIFR of 2,86 amid an increased number of mostly minor injuries.
