Overview

The report describes AGC's 2020 sustainability performance across climate, environmental and social topics. The company set a 2050 goal to achieve net zero GHG emissions from its business activities and introduced 2030 targets to reduce total GHG emissions by 30% and emissions intensity by 50% from 2019. The data book also presents detailed Group energy, water, waste and Scope 3 disclosures. SGS Japan independently verified Scope 1 and 2, Scope 3, energy, water and waste data at a limited level of assurance.
