Overview

The report describes AIB UK's 2024 sustainability agenda as part of a three-year strategy focused on greening the business and supporting sustainable finance. Green lending represented 23% of total new lending, while Scope 1 and 2 location-based emissions fell 2.5% versus 2023. It reports 2,202,874 kWh of energy consumption and identifies commitments to net zero in own operations by 2030 and net zero by 2050. Gender balance was 50% on the AIB UK Board.
