Overview

The report covers the Group's environmental, social and governance performance in mainland China from 1 January to 31 December 2016. It describes an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system and reports that greenhouse-gas emissions were cut by approximately 200,000 tons, about 1% versus the prior year. The Group reported 2,261 employees at year-end and stated that no on-duty fatalities occurred in 2016. It also describes anti-corruption systems, supply-chain controls, health and safety management, and community investment.
