Overview

The report presents Akbank's first TSRS-compliant sustainability reporting cycle for 2024, covering Akbank, its international branch and five consolidated subsidiaries. It reports gross group Scope 1 emissions of 11,967.5 tonnes CO2 and Scope 2 emissions of 44,067 tonnes CO2, while Scope 3 is excluded under a temporary first-year exemption. The bank discloses a target to reduce operational Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 90% by 2030 from a 2019 base year and a net-zero bank commitment for 2050. Deloitte provided a limited assurance report over the Group's sustainability information.
