Overview

The report describes ALDI Nord's 2023 sustainability performance across eight European countries, with a 55% Scope 1 and 2 emissions-reduction target by 2030 and substantial progress already reported. It provides consolidated data on energy, water, waste and employees, alongside detailed initiatives covering packaging, food waste, responsible sourcing, human rights and biodiversity. Selected environmental and product KPIs were subject to limited assurance by Deloitte, and the report includes a GRI content index and SDG mapping.
