Overview

The report describes Alecta's 2017 sustainability work through responsible investment, active ownership, workplace practices and governance. It reports that Alecta had signed up to the UN Global Compact and supported the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures. In its investment activities, Alecta reported more than SEK 17 billion invested in green bonds and 41 per cent female representation among directors in companies where it held a nomination-committee seat. The sustainability report was prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards, Core option, and reviewed by Ernst & Young AB.
