Overview

The report is Alfred Health's inaugural environmental sustainability report for 2018-19, covering its hospitals and clinics. It reports 50,430 tonnes CO2e of total greenhouse gas emissions and 300,494 GJ of stationary energy purchased in 2018/2019. It also records 234,016 kL of water consumption, 3,004,470 kg of waste generated and a 15.67% recycling rate, alongside waste segregation and recycling initiatives.
