Overview

The report presents Algoma's inaugural ESG disclosure for fiscal 2023, including a materiality assessment, ESG governance structure and performance metrics. It highlights continued construction of two EAFs, expected to reduce emissions by approximately 3.0 million tonnes of CO2 per year and 70%. Reported metrics include 3,995,014 Metric tons (t) CO2e of Scope 1 emissions for calendar 2022, 2,846 full-time employees and 1,472,636 Metric tons(t) of waste generated.
