Overview

The report presents Allstate's 2006 corporate responsibility activities across customers, communities, workforce, environment and governance. It highlights the ProtectingAmerica.org coalition of more than 200 organizations and says more than 98 percent of Hurricane Katrina and Rita claims had been settled. Workforce disclosures report 35,579 U.S. employees and women representing 59.2% of the total workforce. Environmental initiatives include a self-sustained headquarters irrigation system, recycling programs and reduced paper use.
