Sustainability Report

Overview

The report is an abridged account of ALPLA's global sustainability performance for 2016-2018 and was prepared in accordance with the GRI Core option. In 2018, total energy consumption was 2,259,146 MWh and reported GHG emissions were 985,152 t CO2 equiv. Recycled material use reached 150,000 tonnes, or 9 per cent of materials used. The report also sets forward-looking goals including a 10 per cent absolute carbon-emissions reduction by 2022 and expanded use of recycled plastics.
