Overview

The report describes AAM's first materiality assessment in 2019 and its focus on governance, environmental, social and product priorities. The company set 5% intensity-reduction goals for energy, GHG emissions and water by the end of 2024, while reporting 2019 energy, emissions and water KPIs. It also highlights Board-level sustainability oversight and the S4 safety system, under which the 2019 total recordable incident rate was 1.2.
