Overview

The report presents AEP's 2023 progress on an affordable, reliable and just energy transition, environmental stewardship, employee well-being and governance. It introduces AEP's first double materiality assessment and identifies priority sustainability issues. Climate disclosures report 2023 Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions, alongside an 80% Scope 1 reduction target by 2030 and a Scope 1 and 2 net-zero target by 2045. The report also covers workforce representation, safety performance, community investment and ESG data trends.
