Corporate Responsibility Report

Overview

The report is AIG's first written corporate-responsibility report and uses the GRI as a guide while acknowledging that it does not catalogue every group initiative. It highlights climate-risk management, active work to reduce the operational carbon footprint, and participation in the Carbon Disclosure Project. The report also describes ESG-informed sustainable investment, microinsurance and financial-access programs, diversity and employee initiatives, philanthropy, and disaster-relief activities. AIG reports a workforce of over 106,000 people across more than 130 countries and jurisdictions.
