Overview

The report presents AIG's expanded 2021 ESG disclosure across climate, human capital and governance. It reports 2021 operational Scope 1 emissions of 17,015 Metric Tonnes of CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of 73,322 Metric Tonnes of CO2e and Scope 3 emissions of 517,033 Metric Tons of CO2e. AIG committed to net-zero GHG emissions by 2050 across operations, investments and underwriting portfolios, while reporting that women represented 55% of its global workforce. The report also documents Board-level ESG oversight and a company-wide sustainability strategy.
