Responsible Investment Report

Overview

The report describes APG's 2020 responsible-investment activity, including €90.9 billion invested in companies contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals and €15.9 billion directed to SDG 7. It reports a 39% reduction in the carbon footprint of equity investments against a 2015 baseline and expands carbon-footprint reporting to corporate bonds, real estate and private equity, covering 57% of the portfolio. APG also explains its TCFD-based climate-risk governance, including a Climate Steering Committee and Investment Committee oversight.
