Overview

The report covers Apollo Tyres' April 2017-March 2018 Europe and APMEA operations, including its manufacturing locations. It reports 16,766 employees, a 35% reduction in Lost Time Incident cases, and one employee fatality during the year. Environmental results include 5,093 TJ of total energy consumption, a 6% renewable-energy share, 24,834 metric tonne of solid waste, and Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 3,02,910.42 and 2,95,515.01 tCO2e respectively. Community programmes reached 5,29,717 people through health-awareness activities, while 618 women were trained in income generation.
