Overview

The report describes ARC's 2017 sustainability performance, including an additional 25 per cent company-wide greenhouse gas intensity reduction target by the end of 2021 relative to the 2017 baseline. It reports 2017 direct emissions of 685,432 CO2e tonnes and indirect emissions of 326,013 CO2e tonnes, with limited assurance over specified Scope 1 and Scope 2 areas. Social highlights include 89 per cent employee engagement, 519 employees and contractors, and continued safety and diversity initiatives. ARC also reports progress on its integrated management system and water infrastructure investment.
