Overview

The report describes a 5.9% increase in consolidated net sales to ¥1,666.6 billion, supported by the Homes and Health Care businesses and the addition of Critical Care following the ZOLL Medical Corporation consolidation. It also highlights the launch of a mainly biomass-fueled power plant in Nobeoka in August 2012. The plant is expected to reduce CO~2~ emissions by 170 thousand tons per year using scrap wood biomass.
