Overview

The report describes Ashmore's sustainability approach across corporate, investment and societal activities, including the integration of ESG analysis into investment processes and Board-level oversight through an ESG Committee. It reports a 31.9% year-on-year reduction in global GHG emissions and 2019/20 total emissions of 689.73 Tonnes CO2e using market-based Scope 2. Ashmore also reports becoming a TCFD supporter, reaffirming its UN Global Compact commitment and establishing annual operational-emissions offsetting with the Ashmore Foundation. Its COVID-19 response included a £250,000 donation to NHS Charities Together.
