Overview

The report reviews APRIL's 2024 progress against its APRIL2030 commitments, noting that land-use-change emissions fell from 4.8 MtCO2e in 2019 to 3.5 MtCO2e. Solar capacity at the mill reached 26.3 MW, prompting the company to double its 2030 solar target to 50 MW. Fibre operations' renewable and cleaner energy share reached 33.1%, while solid waste to landfill fell to 32.3 kg per tonne of product. Community programmes also reduced stunting in Riau to 13.6% and increased villages at 14% or less stunting from 16 in 2019 to 74 in 2024.
