Overview

The report describes the company’s 2019 progress on sustainable forestry, including 100% Sustainable Forest Management-certified pulpwood and approximately 21,000 hectares reaching the Young Regenerating Forest stage. It also reports continued progress across conservation, community empowerment and emissions-intensity goals, including a 23% reduction in carbon intensity against the 2012 baseline. At the same time, the report identifies a serious safety challenge, recording 11 work-related fatalities at its mills.
