Overview

The report describes Aspen's 2008 workforce and realized sustainability activities across health and safety, environmental management and community investment. The Group reported 4,311 employees at year-end and maintained formal SHEQ procedures, audits and training. It also reported waste-minimisation, recycling, solvent recovery and energy-conservation initiatives across its facilities. The report further documents extensive healthcare, HIV/AIDS, education and rural-clinic support through its corporate social investment programme.
