Overview

The report describes Astellas' CSR-based management across compliance, employees, society, environment and economy. For FY2009, global greenhouse gas emissions were 205,000 tons, energy consumption was 4,348 terajoules, and global water usage was 14,372,000 m3. It reports 20,882 tons of waste generated with landfill disposal at 0.9%, and sets a 35% greenhouse gas reduction target from FY2005 by FY2020.
