Overview

The report presents Avantor's first sustainability report for 2020 and introduces its Science for Goodness platform across four sustainability pillars. It reports 61,885 MTCO2e of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, 220,507 MWh of energy consumption, 9,417 MT of waste generated and 1,642 ML of water consumption. It sets an absolute 15% Scope 1 and 2 reduction target by 2025 against a 2019 baseline. Governance disclosures describe Board oversight of ESG matters and a Nominating & Governance Committee with primary sustainability oversight.
