Overview

The report describes AXA’s gradual implementation of its sustainable development policy through local initiatives in 2004, including an environmental reporting process expanded to Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom alongside Belgium and France. More than 65,000 employees returned the Scope survey, representing 81 percent of those sent questionnaires. The report also notes that environmental data collection remained uneven across countries, limiting some global consolidation.
