Overview

The report presents Axiata Group Berhad's 2013 sustainability and national contribution performance across five majority-owned operating companies and the Group. It highlights 23,000 employees, 39,000 sites, 680,810 tonnes of Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions, and 3,721,817 GJ of direct energy consumption. It reports a 40% carbon-emission reduction target by 2018 and describes digital inclusion, education, health and community programmes. This is Axiata's first report prepared in accordance with GRI G4 Core and independently assured by Net Balance.
