Overview

The report describes the completion of the Sieraków furnace rebuild and environmental improvements across BA's plants. Cullet incorporation averaged 33% across the seven plants; specific energy use was 1.362 kcal per kg of melted glass, and specific water use was 0.29 m3 per ton of melted glass. BA also launched a group training academy and introduced its People Assessment and Development process.
