Overview

The report is Balchem's first formal sustainability report and covers 12 months of operations ending December 31, 2018, including all subsidiaries. Prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: Core option, it highlights reach of 1.3 billion people and 10.2 billion animals and reports $643.7M in total revenue. Environmental disclosures include 73,726 MT of combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, 43% renewable raw-material sourcing, and 99% hazardous waste reused or recycled. The report also describes sustainability oversight through a cross-functional steering committee and Board Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee review.
