Overview

The report describes BMO's 2021 sustainability strategy around a thriving economy, sustainable future and inclusive society, including a new net-zero ambition targeting net-zero financed emissions in lending by 2050. Operational GHG emissions totaled 100,261 tonnes and BMO reported 100% renewable electricity, while sustainable-finance capital reached $176 billion. It also reports 41.2% women in senior leadership, 89.6% inclusion-training completion and selected sustainability indicators subject to KPMG limited assurance.
