The report presents Scotiabank's 2016 CSR progress under its Better Future, Better Off strategy, covering customers, employees, communities, environment and governance. The company reports more than 88,000 employees globally and says it exceeded its target of 30% women at the VP+ level globally. It reports a 28.68% decline in Canadian emissions from the 2012 base year and says the 15% reduction target was exceeded one year early. Community contributions reached CAD$70 million globally.
