Overview

The report is BSN's inaugural Sustainability Report covering BSN and wholly owned Permodalan BSN Berhad for 1 January-31 December 2023. It describes a five-step materiality assessment and a governance structure in which the Board holds ultimate responsibility. Climate disclosures include a FY2023 GHG inventory of 38,158.79 tCO2e across Scopes 1-3 and commitments to carbon neutrality for operational emissions by 2035 and overall emissions by 2050. The selected GHG disclosures received limited independent verification by SGS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
