Overview

The report is Bata India Limited's first Business Responsibility Report for FY 2016-17. It reports 8,034 employees and describes initiatives on energy, water, waste recycling and cleaner production, including a 14% reduction in energy consumption in manufacturing units. Its CSR program spent Rs.60.02 Million, supported 19 schools and reached about 10,000 children, while 839 youth received retail-sales employability training.
