Overview

The report is Bawan's inaugural sustainability report covering calendar 2021 and its subsidiaries across five industrial sectors. It reports 3,740 employees and SAR 3.2 Bn in revenue, alongside 2,192 local suppliers and SAR 2.3 Bn of local spending. Environmental disclosures include 481,793 GJ of total energy consumption, 70,420 tCO2e of total GHG emissions, and 361,644 m3 of water consumption. Bawan also reports a 30% reduction in GHG intensity versus 2019 and SAR 903,000 invested in climate-related infrastructure.
