Overview

The report covers Baxter's global 2005 sustainability performance, including a 46,900-person workforce, a 27 percent reduction in energy usage per unit of production value and a 39 percent reduction in total GHG emissions from operations. It describes a sustainability-issue assessment and the formation of a Sustainability Steering Committee. ERM Certification and Verification Services verified all EHS content in the print report except the case study. The report also aligns its reporting with the 2002 GRI Guidelines and includes a detailed GRI Index online.
