Overview

The report covers BMW Group sustainability management, economics, product responsibility, group-wide environmental protection, employees and society for 2008. It reports 4,034,442 MWh of total energy consumption, 3,682,420 m3 of water consumption and 519,353 t of total waste. Year-end employees totaled 100,041, while new BMW Group vehicles sold in Europe had CO2 emissions that fell by close to 27% from 1995 to 2008.
