Social Performance Report

Overview

The report presents BBVAMF Group's 2016 social-performance results across six microfinance institutions in five Latin American countries. It records 1,826,607 clients, 901,624 credit clients and 8,038 employees, with women representing 60.2% of group credit clients and 76.4% classified as vulnerable. The report highlights sustained client progress, including 18.2% average annual sales growth, 18.1% business-income growth and 25.7% asset growth across 2011-2016 cohorts. It also maps the Group's direct and indirect contributions to eight SDGs, including poverty reduction, gender equality, education and decent work.
