ESG Annual Report

Overview

The report describes BCI's 2020 ESG progress, including best-ever PRI assessment results with A or A+ ratings in every category and expanded ESG integration across asset classes. It broadened portfolio carbon-footprint reporting to all asset classes and reported 481 tCO2e of operational emissions, all offset. The report also details implementation of TCFD-aligned climate-risk governance, scenario analysis and disclosure practices. BCI additionally established the Sustainable Development Investments Asset Owner Platform and increased cumulative sustainable-bond participation to $888 million.
