Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents BEWI's 2020 sustainability work through circular economy and inclusive society. It highlights GreenLine and Recycled Inside, new recycling operations in Portugal and Denmark, and profitable recycling of 2,500 tonnes of fish boxes. BEWI says its 20,000-tonne used-EPS collection capacity could replace virgin materials and contribute to a reduction of ~26,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalents. It also sets 2030 commitments covering non-fossil energy, recyclable products, waste reduction, supplier requirements, and social goals.
