Overview

The report describes FY2014 CSR activity across social responsibility, environmental responsibility, greenhouse-gas reporting, supply-chain emissions and sustainable store design. Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions totaled 5,681.8 tCO2e, with electricity emissions down 23.0% from 2011. Solar generation reached 285,832 kWh, representing 2.4% of total electricity use, while the report set a 40% carbon-emissions reduction target for 2018 from the 2011 benchmark. Deloitte LLP provided limited assurance over selected emissions, renewable-energy and staff health-and-safety indicators.
