Overview

The report highlights BCU's 2023/24 environmental progress, including a 27.6% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from 2022/23 and 2.9% lower overall waste production. Scope 1 and 2 emissions were 5392 tCO2e, supported by 297 solar panels, renewable electricity and decarbonisation projects including air-source heat pumps. Water consumption increased by 22,101m3 year-on-year, while water wastage was around 5%.
