Overview

The report describes PYI's ESG governance, environmental initiatives, and community contributions for the period from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019. The Board has overall responsibility for ESG strategy and reporting. Environmental highlights include solar electricity generation at Jiaxing International Feeder Port, which reduced purchased electricity by over 30 percent year on year. Social contributions included a HK$1 million donation to Friends of Hope Education Fund supporting educational work in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
