Sustainability Report

Overview

The report sets out BlueScope's FY2023 sustainability performance across climate, responsible products, workplaces and communities. It reports Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions of 8,400, 1,730 and 11,860 ktCO2-e, respectively, and maintains a 2050 net-zero goal for Scope 1 and 2 emissions. Western Port achieved ResponsibleSteel site certification in September 2023. The report also discloses modern-slavery matters affecting some Malaysian contract workers and describes the remediation process underway.
