Overview

The report presents BOAL Group's 2022 ESG journey, including a group-wide ESG governance structure with an ESG Director, topic leads and board reporting. It reports a 16% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions versus the previous year and a 9% reduction in CO2 emissions per tonne of aluminum. The report covers 526 employees and records 505 near misses, 55 accidents without longer work stoppage and 25 lost-time accidents. It also describes support for the UN Global Compact and a focus on SDGs 2, 6, 7, 11 and 15.
