Overview

The report presents BORG Automotive's circular remanufacturing model, which processes about two million cores annually and can use up to 85% less energy than producing new parts. In 2020, electricity consumption and the lost-time injury rate exceeded their indexed targets, while packaging-material consumption performed better than target. The newly structured environmental reporting records 3,689 tonnes of Scope 1 and 2 CO2 equivalents, 8,413 MWh of energy consumption, and 18,596 m3 of water consumption. Governance reporting also records 0% women on the board and an average workforce of 1,466 employees.
